Privacy Policy

We collect only the following:

• Mobile number — for account creation and communication
• Name — for account identification
• PAN — for identity verification
• Bureau data — your credit report and credit score fetched from authorised Credit Information Companies (CICs) with your explicit consent, solely to provide credit improvement recommendation.

• To create and manage your GroScore account
• To fetch your credit report from CICs and generate personalised recommendations to help you improve your credit score
• To send service-related communication on your registered mobile number

In accordance with the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005 (CICRA):

• Your credit report is fetched only with your explicit consent
• It is stored solely to track your credit health progress and provide improvement guidance
• It is retained for a maximum of six months per fetch, renewed each time you log in
• It is never shared with any unauthorised third party

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

• CICs (TransUnion CIBIL, Equifax, Experian, CRIF High Mark) — to fetch your credit report
• Regulators and law enforcement — only when required by applicable Indian law

Your data is retained for the duration of your account and for five (5) years after account closure, or longer if required by law.

• Withdraw consent for credit report fetching at any time
• Request account deletion by contacting support@gromo.in
• Opt out of service communications at any time

We implement standard security measures including encryption and access controls to protect your data. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
